Iran slams Baghdad deadly bombings

TEHRAN, Sep. 28 (MNA) – Iran has condemned Tue. series of bomb blasts in Iraqi capital which killed at least 15 people and wounded 55 others.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi condemned the deadly attacks carried out by the ISIL terrorist groups in Baghdad on Tuesday, and expressed his deepest sympathy and condolences to the people and government of Iraq.

He deemed the slaughtering of innocent people in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and other parts of the region and the world the result of the fatal silence, negligence and connivance of the international community toward the intellectual root causes and financial sponsoring of terror and violence that takes place for specific and divisive purposes.

The Iranian diplomat once again reminded all regional and international players of their responsibility for a serious and real confrontation with terrorism.

A series of bomb blasts on Tuesday killed at least 15 people and wounded 55 others in across Iraqi capital. ISIL claimed responsibility for the attack.
